Menu Plan Monday, wk 1

One of my 52 things for the year is to menu plan weekly. This week is a pretty easy week for us as we get back into the swing of things so to speak.  I am switching our leftover night to Thursday nights instead of Fridays because Marie will be starting play practice at co-op beginning this week and we will be getting home right around dinner time. Plus, Thursday nights is our church group night so I need something simple and quick for Thursdays. Here’s the plan:

key: breakfast, lunch, snack, dinner

Mon., Jan. 3rd:

banana bread, tangerine, OJ
grilled cheese, tomato soup, pineapples
apples, granola bar
bbq chicken, fresh biscuits, pasta side, corn/cob

Tue., Jan. 4th:

waffles, smoothie
tuna on bread or crackers, pudding, chips
popcorn
pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw, pork-n-beans, green beans

Wed., Jan. 5th:

french toast sticks, fruit, juice or milk
mac & cheese, smokie muffins(aka battery muffins), carrots with ranch
cheese cubes, pretzels
enchilada bake, Spanish rice, refried beans

Thur., Jan. 6th:

bagel w/cream cheese or jelly, yogurt, milk or juice
co-op: sandwiches, chips, juice/water, snacks
chex mix
leftover night

Fri., Jan. 7th:

cereal, fruit, juice or milk
egg salad sandwich, pretzels, pickle
goldfish, apples
rigatoni, garlic bread,  salad

Sat., Jan. 8th:

free choice
free choice
free choice
Happy 8th Birthday Mikayla!!! out to eat

Sun., Jan. 9th:

eggs, sausage links, hm cinnamon rolls

early dinner~ beef chili, cornbread, applesauce, cheesecake
