14:6 - The Way: A Scripture Memory Course on Salvation ~ a TOS review

Morning friends! It’s been a week… I am feeling quite frazzled and overwhelmed with all that needed to be accomplished this week. Here it is September 1st (whoa, September already!) and I am not prepared at all. One thing I like to do when I start feeling the stress is to pull back and make it a priority to dive into God’s word more. Memorizing scripture and reading my Bible is essential, not only for me, but for my children as well. These last few weeks I have been digging into the Word with 14:6 - The Way from Scripture Memory Fellowship, as an easy way to memorize God's Word.
14:6 – The Way is a complete 28-week Bible memory course to help you understand the fundamentals of salvation. With 84 verses it helps you to be able to share the Good News of Christ with others. This product comes in two different versions, The King James {KJV} and The English Standard Version {ESV}. We were blessed to receive the {KJV} for our review along with access to the Scripture Memory Fellowships free app called VerseLocker to aid in memorization.

The 14:6 – The Way book is a 9 ¼ x 5 ½ inch spiral bound book with thick cardstock paper. Inside the book you will find lessons on a topic in question-and-answer format. The seven themes covered through the curriculum include:

Theme 1 ~ Who is God?
Theme 2 ~ What went wrong?
Theme 3 ~ What did God do?
Theme 4 ~ What did Jesus do?
 Theme 5 ~What is salvation?
Theme 6 ~ How do we respond?
Theme 7 ~  What happens next?

Each week three color-coded verses are included each week to memorize along with a thesis statement that tells you what this section is about. You choose how many you will memorize each week and record how well you or your child did for the week. And since we are to be spreading the Word of God, there is a section at the bottom of the page to track when you share the verse at home, at church, and in your community.
I have really enjoyed using this product during my morning Bible time. It has really helped ground me in the busyness of daily life. When using this product, I chose to just memorize one verse each week, in the green boxes. My plan is to make it through the whole 28-week course memorizing all the green boxed verses and then cycle back through and memorize another set of verses in the orange boxes and so forth until all the verses are memorized in the curriculum.

I think this is an excellent tool to help memorize God’s Word and this is a great resource for children or adults to use to help them dive into the Word! This program is versatile enough for families to use it with multiple ages from elementary to teens. I recommend you checking this Bible curriculum out for yourself and to read what my CrewMates thought of this Scripture memory tool by clicking the banner below to read their thoughts.
