Today I am excited to tell you about a memorization tool we have been using in our homeschool to help us remember our weekly Bible verses. Memorization is such an important skill for life, but especially so to be able to recall a scripture when you need it. Over the past several weeks we have been using The Bible Memory App - Bible Memory PRO from BibleMemory.com to help my three youngest and myself memorize our weekly Bible verses. 

Bible Memory App – Bible Memory Pro is available on Apple and Android devices as well as being online. Getting started with this program was easy. Once I created my master account on my MacBook I was able to activate my Pro membership that includes lifetime access. I then downloaded the app to my phone. My Pro membership also allowed me to add my three younger children to the account as well so I added the app to each of the kids iPad’s. To do this they each needed their own email address. The girls already have email addresses so I just let Micah use my alternate email for his account. 

The Bible Memory App is great for all types of learners! Visual learners are able to watch animated words or use flashcards to help with memorization. They also can draw pictures within the app. Auditory learners can listen to the verse and play it back as many times as necessary. The Type it- Memorize it- Master it format is perfect for your kinesthetic learners.  

With this program there are five different Bible translations to choose from including the King James Version which comes standard with the program. The four other translations are available with a license fee and include the ESV, NIV, NASB, CSB. As you learn your verses you have the opportunity to collect different badges and to earn points. This makes memorizing Bible verses fun!

The Bible Memory App- Bible Memory Pro is an awesome addition to our homeschool and we have been blessed with the opportunity to be able to use it over the last six weeks. Each week the kids would enter their verses for the week into the program to study. 

McKenzie really enjoyed being able to type her words in even though she is mainly an auditory learner. Being able to see the verse too help her memorize her verses easier each week and she loves that she can earn badges and points. Micah is an auditory learner so we focused on that with him, as well as Montana. For myself, I used a combination of all three as I work to memorize the 52 verses for the scripture program I am using. Having access to the program right at my fingertips on my phone gives me no excuse to not be in the Word each day.
